Viking Chess, or Hnefatafl, is an ancient board game older than chess.
The purpose of the game is to escort the King ( centerpiece) to one of the corner 'castles', while the opposing army ( 4 outer groups) try to capture him.
Simple rules, with plenty of strategy and tons of playtime.
